Connecting Mind and Body

We now offer both in-person and online yoga sessions!

Our Philosophy

At YogaMihi, we believe that yoga should be for everyone, regardless of age, body type, or flexibility. Connecting the body movements, or asanas, with the breath, or prana, improves the overall wellbeing. With regular practice, it calms the mind, strengthens the body, and eases the soul. Our class motto is simple - listen to your body, respect it, and adjust your physical movements accordingly. Each body is unique and has its own needs, which is why we modify asanas, to suit every body.

I've been training and doing my yoga practice under Rathna for close to 2 years now. Her teaching style has very well resonated with me as she brings a balanced mind, body, and spirit approach in her instruction. She walks us through poses so that all levels of practitioners are engaged and challenged. She pays detailed attention to each participant and corrects any mistakes. I've been able to get rid of my prolonged back aches, and my physical flexibility and balance have improved. With the pandemic, it’s been a year since we moved to online classes with Rathna, and she was quick to adapt and set up the infrastructure so the classes go seamlessly. Classes focus on certain parts of the body and finish with reflection and relaxation, with reinforced positivity. I would highly recommend yoga with Rathna.
